How much do your cakes cost?
For custom cakes, we have a minimum starting price of $150. Buttercream cakes have a starting price of $6 per serving, and fondant cakes have a starting price of $7.50 per serving. Prices may go up based on details, and how elaborate the design is.
Desserts are priced per dozen for a simple design. Price may go up based on any added decorations. Click HERE to check out our dessert prices.
Do you offer cake tastings?
Cake tastings are only offered for weddings, and celebrations with a guest count of at least 75. We charge $35 for a tasting for 2 guests. If you book with us within 7 days of the tasting, that amount will be applied to your order.
We recommend you bring with you any pictures, invitations, etc., that may help us come up with the perfect dessert option(s) for your event. You will be able to choose up to 3 cake flavors, our standard vanilla buttercream, and 2 fillings to try. Cake tastings can be scheduled anytime based on availability.
Payment is required at least 1 week before the scheduled tasting.
Do your cakes and desserts taste as good?
All of our cakes are made from scratch using only high quality ingredients including real butter, vanilla, sugar, eggs, and fresh fruit. We also have many years worth of experience in perfecting all of our recipes so we can ensure that everything on our menu tastes delicious AND looks fantastic!
Do you sell sheet cakes?
We love creating unique, beautiful centerpieces for every event, so sheet cakes are only offered to supplement larger parties that also order a custom cake.
How can I place an order?
Please provide us with as many details for your event as possible so that we can give you an accurate quote. (Date, time, theme, flavors, amount of necessary servings, and pictures you have as inspiration). Please use the online payment links that are included in your invoice.
How early should I place my order?
Your cake or dessert order should be placed as soon as you have finalized your guest count, party location, theme/colors, and event date.
Since we are usually booked a few weeks in advance, we do encourage early ordering. A two week notice is recommended, but we attempt to accommodate last minute order requests if our schedule allows. Please call or message us to find out our availability on your particular date.
Do you require a deposit to place an order?
We require a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE retainer to book your order. If your balance is not paid at least 14 days before your event date, you forfeit your retainer and risk not being accommodated.
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
All requests for a cancellation must be made in writing. If a cancellation is requested within 14 days of the event date, all monies paid up until then will be forfeited. If you request cancellation 14 days or more before your event date and it has been approved, your retainer is non-refundable.
Where are you located?
We are a North Carolina Department of Agriculture approved, licensed and insured home-based bakery located just outside of Charlotte, NC. So when we say everything we make tastes "homemade", we mean it!
Do you deliver?
We will deliver anywhere our cakes/desserts can safely make the ride to. Delivery within Gastonia, North Carolina is always free. Charlotte, North Carolina and surrounding areas have a delivery fee starting at $20.
If you or your representative are not at the prearranged location to receive your cake/desserts at the prearranged time, your delivery fee is forfeited and you will be responsible for making plans to pick up your items, possibly on the next available business day.
Currently, we do not offer shipping for our desserts.
